Who are you?

You want to be a part of a team of engaged young professionals and help FLA grow. You will work together with our Professionals Operations team, who need a hand continuing the current efforts for our Professionals Academy. As a person you are responsible and have a “can do” attitude. We value motivation and experiences with planning and executing events, but most importantly, we expect you to show us that you are able to take ownership of your tasks and eager to create great experiences for FLA participants.

Time

We expect approx. 5-10 hours per week spent working closely with the Operations team as well as occasional meetings with the rest of the organisation. This will vary depending on the workload.

Tasks

We are looking for someone to help plan and facilitate the Leadership Academy for professionals. One of FLA’s main products, this academy consists of 6 workshops held during a period of 2-3 months, with the purpose to equip 30 young professionals with leadership skills for their career. The specific task consists of brainstorming and developing the content for the Leadership Academy, communicating with participants, speakers and our partners, creating material for our participants and representing FLA in different events.

The Team

You will work together with our Professionals Operations team, consisting of young professionals volunteering at FLA. You will also be closely collaborating with other teams in FLA, such as marketing.

We specifically seek someone who wants to tell our stories, is interested in strategic communication, and is passionate about promoting FLA’s values and messages in society.

Tasks

As a PR Associate at the Female Leadership Academy (FLA), your primary responsibility will be to effectively communicate and amplify FLA’s stories and mission. You will play a pivotal role in executing our public relations strategy, proactively identifying media opportunities, and pitching FLA’s initiatives to relevant outlets. In addition, you will collaborate with the team to uncover new storytelling opportunities and manage relationships with key media stakeholders, ensuring FLA’s voice is heard and its impact is recognized.

The team

You will join the Marketing & PR team in FLA, consisting of 8 volunteers. Roles include Creative Specialist, Podcast Specialist, Communication´s specialist, Project Marketing Manager & PR Lead. 

Time

We expect approx. 5 – 10 hours per week. This will vary depending on the workload in the organisation, your exam periods and other responsibilities.
