We aspire to influence and expand diversity on the career track and ultimately in top management and other leadership positions. Mette Louise Kaagaard is the CEO of Microsoft Denmark & Iceland.
With extensive experience in the technology sector, she has a proven track record of leading digital transformation and driving strategic growth. Her leadership is characterized by a strong focus on innovation, customer-centric solutions, and fostering inclusive workplace cultures. Mette is recognized for her ability to navigate complex business landscapes and deliver impactful results.
Britta Korre Stenholdt is the CEO of STARK Denmark
Britta brings more than eight years of leadership experience to the position. Before stepping into the role of CEO, she served as the Chief Sales Officer at STARK and has a wealth of expertise in business strategy, B2B, and commercial disciplines. In addition to her role at STARK, Britta serves on the board of InstallatørGruppen, holds the position of Vice Chair and board member at DI – Dansk Industri, DI Byggeri, and presides as Chair in DI Handel.
Brian Mikkelsen is the CEO of Dansk Erhverv, Board Member, and Former Danish Minister of Justice, Culture, and Business.
Brian Mikkelsen is the CEO of Dansk Erhverv, where he is engaged in making Denmark the best place for businesses. He brings great experience from more than 24 years in Danish politics, having served as Minister of Justice, Culture, and Business. In addition to his executive role, Brian serves on the boards of PensionDanmark, ATP, and other key organizations. His leadership is marked by a commitment to improving business conditions in Denmark and he also holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Copenhagen.
Ida B. Kongsted is the CEO of Dansk Selskab for Virksomhedsledelse (VL Groups)
Ida Bratting Kongsted is the CEO of Dansk Selskab for Virksomhedsledelse (VL Groups), where she leads efforts to promote responsible leadership and foster dialogue among top business and political leaders in Denmark. With extensive board experience and a commitment to sustainable business practices, she plays a key role in shaping leadership development. Ida’s educational background includes an Executive Management Programme from INSEAD, a program at The Wharton School, and a Board Governance certification from CBS, along with an HD(O) from Copenhagen Business School.
Gertie Find Laerkholm is the Managing Partner of BCG Denmark
Gertie Find Laerkholm is the Managing Partner of BCG Denmark, with over 12 years at Boston Consulting Group. She specializes in transforming global consumer and retail businesses, combining strategic insights with hands-on execution. Her leadership style is deeply rooted in care, diversity, and an international perspective shaped by time spent in China, India, the UK, and Australia. Gertie holds an MBA from London Business School and has prior leadership experience at A.P. Moller – Maersk across various regions.
Jan Simonsen is the Country General Manager at Salesforce Denmark.
Jan Simonsen is the Country General Manager for Salesforce Denmark, leading the team since 2023. With over two decades of experience in executive leadership, he has previously held senior positions at Oracle and IBM. Jan specializes in sales execution, business optimization, and organizational change, having driven high-performance teams and strategic growth initiatives across industries. His education includes an MBA from Henley Business School and leadership programs at Harvard Business School.

The organization behind Female Leadership Academy consists of 40+ former and current students from Copenhagen Business School, Technical University of Denmark – DTU, and the University of Copenhagen. They all work voluntarily in different sections such as finance, product development, external operations and events, partnerships, marketing, internal operations, and ambassadors.
