We’re seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the development and management of our online leadership academy, community, and digital learning tools—working alongside an outstanding tech team. This role requires both technical expertise and strategic execution to create a seamless and engaging user experience.
Additionally, the CTO will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable IT infrastructure across the organization (CRM, LMS, Salesforce, Shopify, etc.), establishing best practices, and assessing the necessary applications and tools to deliver a best-in-class experience for our community members.
Tasks:
IT Infrastructure & Integration:
- Design and maintain a scalable IT infrastructure connecting key platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Salesforce, LMS, webinar tools).
- Ensure seamless data flow between systems, optimizing performance, security, and user experience.
- Implement user authentication and access management for different member types.
- Set up cloud-based hosting, backups, and security protocols for system stability.
Website & Content: Optimize our WordPress platform for video hosting, content organization, and SEO. Implement search and filter functions for easy navigation.
Learning & Webinars: Set up and manage an LMS (e.g., Moodle, LearnDash) for leadership courses. Integrate webinar platforms and enable user accounts with certification options.
Events & Networking: Implement an event management system, interactive calendar, and discussion forums for knowledge-sharing and community engagement.
Community & Job Board: Build a member directory, job board, and user profile system to connect professionals, share content, and promote opportunities.
Partner & Program Activation: Develop program pages with course details, partner content, and registration functionality.
App Development: Lead the creation of a mobile app integrating all platform features for seamless accessibility.
Payment Implementation: Implementation of membership paywalls, subscription models, and secure payment gateways.
Security: Ensuring GDPR compliance, data privacy, and security best practices for member data.
Skills:
- Strong expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Experience in setting up and managing online leadership development programs and communities.
- Ability to evaluate and compare LMS platform providers, recommending best practices.
- Skilled in building and maintaining a robust, scalable IT infrastructure that seamlessly integrates various systems and applications (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Salesforce).
Time:
- This is a full-time paid position beginning in March or 1st of April with a contract until the end of the year, 31st of December 2025.
